Meet Our Infinite Vision Leaders

Our Vision
A world where every child can imagine a future filled with possibilities and has opportunities to explore them.

Our Mission
To expand what children imagine is possible through joyful, real-world STEAM career exploration, meaningful encounters with diverse professionals and experiences that inspire children and families to keep discovering together.

Why We Begin Early
A child who has never met an aerospace engineer may not know that's a possibility. A child who loves animals may not realize how many careers combine science and caring for living things. A child who enjoys art may never have imagined helping create immersive environments using technology, engineering and design.
We want to introduce those possibilities while children are still forming their ideas about the world and themselves. Not to ask them to choose a career. To help them discover how much there is to choose from.

Deidra Walker
Focused on living with energy, enthusiasm, and empathy, Deidra Walker’s technology career spans 30+ years. Her passion for implementing technical software / application solutions is what drove her love for leading teams, real people toward successful go-live milestones. Deidra always enjoyed hearing from customers how technology solutions increased workplace productivity. Throughout her career she received several awards and acknowledgements but none meant more than the support she received from her team members. Deidra has honed her leadership skills and ability to work across all leadership levels. From day one of her career and looking back in the early days, Deidra recognized the lack of representation in all facets of STEM, so during her career she worked hard to expand awareness and access, thereby being impactful when she had the opportunity. Acknowledging Deidra has always enjoyed working with children and youth via the organizations she has been involved with, hence when the opportunity presented itself to officially lean into making Infinite Vision Explorers a reality, she took on the task. Deidra, along with the IV Explorers team, is excited to provide the opportunity for young learners to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through fun, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, imagination, and open minds to future careers and potential.

Sharolyn Hyson
Sharolyn Hyson is an administrative and marketing professional with experience in business operations, community engagement, and social media. At the heart of her involvement with Infinite Vision Explorers is something deeply personal: the impact that exposure had on her own childhood. Growing up, Sharolyn had opportunities to experience new places, environments, people, and possibilities that helped shape the way she viewed the world and, more importantly, what she believed was possible for her own future. Those experiences taught her that exposure is more than simply introducing a child to something new. It can expand their perspective, build confidence, spark curiosity, and plant seeds for dreams they may not have known were possible. She believes every child deserves that same opportunity, regardless of their background, circumstances, or the resources available to their family. That belief is why Sharolyn chooses to give her time, energy, and talents to Infinite Vision Explorers. She is committed to helping create meaningful experiences that expose young people to a world beyond what they see every day and empower them to envision more for themselves and their futures.

Ruben Scott
Mr. Scott is an accomplished accounting and finance leader with 29 plus years of extensive experience in financial operations, accounting systems, accounts receivable, billing, collections, cost control, SEC reporting, and financial compliance. With advanced degrees in Accounting and Finance, Mr. Scott brings a strong combination of analytical expertise, operational leadership, and strategic financial management across healthcare, SaaS, manufacturing, construction, real estate, and other industries. Throughout his career, Mr. Scoitt has demonstrated a proven ability to improve financial processes, strengthen internal controls, increase cash flow, and enhance reporting accuracy. In his current role as a Senior Accounting Consultant, he redesigned receivables and collections processes that reduced write-offs, increased cash collections and cut collection time. He has also led complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple departments and financial systems while supporting SOX compliance and external audit requirements. At one point in his career Mr. Scott worked for a corporation which had a not-for-profit foundation attached to it. The positive experience gained from managing the financial reporting of this not-for-profit was a big motivating factor for Mr. Scott to be involved with a not-for-profit that had a goal of helping others, especially others in communities that are underserved. The vision and mission of Infinite Vision Explorers fit into Mr. Scott’s personal experiences of seeing a very limited population of young Black and Brown people coming into the workforce from STEM, finance and accounting areas. Focusing his skills and knowledge acquired over a 29-year career; Mr. Scott believes that he can contribute to Infinite Vision Explorer’s mission of improving the talent funneled through the pipeline from the classroom to the professional workforce.

Meosha

Dr. Boddie
Every Child Deserves a Wider World of Possibility.
Children begin imagining their futures long before they are ready to choose a career. But how can a child dream about something they've never seen? How can they imagine becoming someone they've never met?
Infinite Vision Explorers was created around a simple belief: children's possibilities should not be limited by what they happen to know, who they happen to meet or the opportunities available in their immediate surroundings. We want to introduce children to the extraordinary world around them and help them see themselves as part of it.
